What does The Character of Dr. Johnathan Wick represent?

The character of Dr. Jonathan Wick symbolizes outsiders who want to save Brooklyn, but who do not understand its magic. As a result, they use their own methods in an effort to do what they think is right. However, instead of saving Brooklyn, they are destroying it just as Wick is destroying the shadowshapers instead of saving them.
