Axel Emmermann was a rock collector who lived in Antwerp, Belgium. He received the email about the moon rocks and was greatly intrigued. The man lived a very orderly life with his wife, Christel and his two children. When he received the email about the lunar rocks, he was on leave from working at the polyethylene plant as a quality control supervisor due to a recurring injury. He knew that the person selling the lunar rocks was ethically wrong and he decided to hunt the person down.
