Who is Darryl in Schooled by Gordon Korman?

Darryl is one of Zach's closest friends and minions. He does everything Zach says without question. Darryl is a talented football player and athlete. He also has a conscience. Thus, when Zach purposely sets him up to do something that might have seriously hurt Cap, Darryl turns on him, and Cap gets a new friend.
