It says Mrs.Starch doesn’t have a family but if it’s Mrs that means she has a husband and a husband you would count as family so why does it say Mrs?

It should be Ms if she doesn’t have a family

On pg. 16, we learn that no one is sure whether Mrs. Starch is widowed or divorced.
