What is Julia's state of mind as she plans to travel to Tuscany?

Julia is upset and her daughter Zoe does not know why. Julia does not feel like she can explain to her. She has not, at this point, told Zoe about the baby yet, presumably because she is still upset and with her history of miscarriages, does not have faith that the baby will be born.
