James (Jimmy) Cody is Matt's doctor. He is described by Ben as "a little heller then, a good doctor now." James is professional, friendly, and caring, and he is a prominant member of the group that attempts to stamp out the vampires. In the end, James dies when he falls into a booby trap set up by the vampires.
