Why is Prince Escalus angry with the Montagues and Capulets?

Prince Escalus is angry because the two families have disturbed the peace of Verona three times for trivial reasons. People have been wounded and died because of the hate between the two families. The prince knows that Montague and Capulet can choose to end the feud, but are too proud and stubborn to do so.
