There is so much symbolism that I'm unsure where to begin. I can comment on one. Mercutio's Queen Mab speech is a powerful one. Queen Mab represents fantasies and dreams. Mab is speaks to a person's vices be them greed or lust. I have seen a few productions where Mab symbolizes Mercutio's unrequited love for Romeo.
