Who is Pug from A Darkness at Sethanon and what is their importance?

Pug, also known as Milamber in Kelewan, is a wizard. He has mastered the magical paths of both Midkemia and Kelewan, and he sets out to find Macros so they can defeat the Enemy. Adopted into the family of Arutha, Lyam and Martin by their father, Pug now has a wife, son, and an adopted daughter of his own. His adopted daughter has the ability to hear Pug no matter where he is, and through her, he is able to get a message to Kulgan and Hochopepa, who are watching over his family in his absence.
