The White House is the home of the Ellen Claremont presidency, and Alex's home as a result. He lives there with his mother Ellen, his stepfather Leo, and his older sister June. While living in the White House, Alex resides in the East Bedroom. Although it is not traditional for the children of the president to continue living in the White House past 18, Alex began his collegiate career at Georgetown soon after his mother's inauguration and decided to continue to stay there. Meanwhile, June sacrifices a career as a journalist to stay close to both her mother and brother. While Alex enjoys the privilege of living in the White House, he still has fond memories of his childhood home in Texas and hopes to return their someday.
