Who is Meno from Protagoras and Meno and what is their importance?

Meno is an aristocrat from Thessaly, in Greece and a former student of the philosopher Gorgias. Meno argues that there are many types of virtue, while Socrates wants to describe virtue as a single thing. After their discussion, Meno believes that Socrates has put a spell on him, since he feels totally confused. Meno tells Socrates that he lost all the knowledge he thought he had while talking to him.
