What is the theme in Private Peaceful by Michael Morpurgo?

One major theme in the novel, Private Peaceful, is that of love, specifically, the many kinds of love. Thomas and Charlie both love Molly romantically.... Molly love them both in turn, Charlie, as her future husband.... Thomas as a brother. Jealousy builds a wall between the brothers, but love knocks it down.
