It is only when they are talking to each other that Amanda and Elyot can do the most damage. Despite their great love for each other, they cannot help but bicker and grow jealous at the thought of there being any other person in their lives. However, when they call "Sollocks," the forced silence gives their tempers time to cool and they are able to simply enjoy each others' presence again.
