Amanda is too angry at him for drinking too much and accusing her of having an affair. She puts on a record to drown him out, which he keeps turning off. Elyot cries out their code in vain, but Amanda breaks the record over his head, causing him to slap her in the face. He tries to apologize, but she retaliates back at him.
