Pride and Prejudice were the characters used in the novel real or imaginary? Asked by rimshajameel on 05 May 08:12 Last updated by anonymous on 16 May 01:48
In the novel, Pride and Prejudice, the setting is real, but the people and events are not. Common names of the landed gentry from that day and age may have been used, but Austen never intended the tale to be biographical at all.
