Ton from Postcards from No Man's Land is the guy that Jacob meets when he arrives in Amsterdam. He is confused by his attraction to Ton who is clearly a cross dresser. He learns later that Ton is one of Daan's lovers. Though they never do become an item, they remain close friends.
