How does Lubonski help the partisan troop?

Lubonski helps the partisan troop by offering food when Beruta solicits it. She tells him that she has organized a school to educate the children and they need food. He says he will not have anything to do with the partisans, but Beruta tells them where Lubonski keeps his wheat and slaughtered pigs. They take the food, making it look like a robbery.
