Who is Behjet from Plain Kate and what is their importance?

Behjet is a member of the Roamers' clan, Daj's son, and Stivo's twin brother. He is described as a kind and gentle man, who is responsible for introducing Plain Kate to Daj. Plain Kate trusts Behjet, but fails to tell him the truth after Drina's attack, something that might have changed what would happen next. When Stivo is struck ill and Wen dies, Behjet turns his grief on Plain Kate and tries to burn her alive inside a bear cage.
