The majority of these people have no concept of space, form and distance. Vision has no meaning. Those who can newly see discern objects as patches of colored light. Many of these people are unable to reconcile their unsighted idea of an object with how it appears after they gain eyesight. Some are able to adjust from the state of blindness to visual ability, and those few often feel everything they see is beautiful.
