Pilgrim at Tinker Creek
The first section of Chapter 8 is titled, "Intricacy." What might this title mean and how does Dillard's writing change to reflect this?

Dillard discusses the incredible variety and intricacy of the natural world. This chapter, ironically, is rather intricately written, as if Dillard is mimicking the creator of the natural world. The entire first section goes into great detail about many phenomena of the natural world. Dillard aptly conveys her sense of awe about creation.
