Jaron is one of Usbek's black eunuchs. He travels with Usbek to Europe and describe their relationship as one of a father and son. Jaron was trained under the supervision of the head eunuch and would rather have stayed with Usbek on his journey, rather than return to seraglio after the head eunuch's death.
