Who is Brigadier Nigel Poett from Pegasus Bridge: June 6, 1944 and what is their importance?

Brigadier Nigel Poett was the commander of the 5th Para Brigade of the 6th Airborne Division. On June 6, he was flying in a plane a few minutes behind Howard's gliders and would join D Company at the bridges. Poett went on to a distinguished military career, after which, he retired to Salisbury.
