Who is Hadi from Peace Child and what is their importance?

Richardson meets Hadi in the group of warriors he first meets in the jungle. Hadi becomes Richardson's first language informant. He even agrees to accompany Richardson aboard his motor powered boat, which proves to be a fearful experience for Hadi.
