What does Coach tell Patina when he gives her one of the batons in Chapter 13?

Coach gives Patina one of the batons. He tells her that after the other day and her tantrum last meet, he was not sure about making her the anchor. He was not sure she could handle the responsibility. However, he feels that she can do it, even though he does not know why he feels that way. He tells her to prove that he is right.
