Who is Mike Dobrejcak from Out of This Furnace and what is their importance?

Mike Dobrejcak is an Hungarian immigrant, who comes to America and boards in Dorta's home. After learning to read and write in English, Mike gets a job in the mill. In 1902, he marries Mary Kracha. The couple goes onto have four children before Mike is killed in an accident at the mill.
