Othello what role does the handkerchief have at the end of othello? Asked by m4august on 21 May 06:46 Last updated by Cat on 04 Apr 04:45
Othello thinks that the loss of his mother's handkerchief proves Desdemona's infidelity. He accuses Desdemona of giving it to Cassio as a token of love. Emilia ends up explaining what really happened with the handkerchief but it is too late.
