Yes, Vivian is sexually molested by Mr. Grote. On pg. 151, we learn that Mr. Grote makes sexual advances toward Vivian, but that she is able to scream.... drawing Mrs. Grote's attention. When Mrs. Grote enters the room, Mr. Grote quickly tries to explain that it isn't what it looks like. She then proceeds to demand that Vivian leave her home.
