Niko and Myla

Niko and Myla’s relationship serves a symbol for a healthy relationship throughout the novel. While other characters struggle with unrequited love and self-sabotaging love, Niko and Myla provide an example of a healthy relationship. They support one another, act without jealousy, and articulate their emotions openly. Their relationship serves as a guidepost for both August and the reader to define a healthy relationship in their own life.
