What does Felix discover when he returns to his parents' shop in the novel, Once?

When Felix arrives at his parents’ bookstore, he discovers that it is no longer a bookstore, but has been turned into a shop for second-hand clothes. A Catholic family in town has taken over the store and is living in the apartment above the bookstore where Felix and his family once lived.
