On the Far Side of the Mountain

The novel's main problem can be found in Alice's disappearance.... she has run away. The solution is found when Sam and Bando begin to search for her and meet Alice's new friend, Hanni, as well as their later discovery of poachers. In the end, Alice is found and the poaching problem is solved.
