Who is Reverend John Lyford from Of Plymouth Plantation, 1620-1647 and what is their importance?

Reverend John Lyford was among the first to arrive in Plymouth. He was also the first and only ordained minister to arrive at that time. Lyford was later banished from the colony for failing to practice what he preached..... as his loyalty was to the King od England rather than the Separatists.
