Of Mice and Men
From the book, Of Mice and Men, what are some literary devices?
.
.
One example of a literary device would be foreshadowing. Lennie's mouse is killed when he pets it too hard, his puppy dies when he plays too rough, and Curley's wife is killed when he tries to keep her from screaming.... each death foreshadows the next.
Metaphor:
"The curls, tiny little sausages, were spread on the hay behind her hair"
Simile:
"Snorting into the water like a horse"
