Who is the victim in the novel, Nocturne?

The murdered woman, Mrs. Franz Helder nee Svetlana Dyalovich, is an elderly woman whose hands are twisted by arthritis. Sadly, she is also losing her hearing because of a brain tumor— infirmities made more tragic because of her former profession as a concert pianist.
