Richard Kwang founded the Ho-Pak Bank in Hong Kong. He becomes very nervous when there is a run on the bank because the bank was founded the bank using money from the gold and gambling people. Kwang orders his own people to buy stock to keep prices from falling while he investigates. He later receives warning that more customers will leave the next day and that he is being targeted. The bank is eventually bailed out by the colony government.
