The Sharpshooter, Eliza, and Dearbhla found refuge in two deserted cabins high up on an Appalachian mountain ridge in the Alleghenies. They stayed to the ridges. The Sharpshooter traded for supplies in the valley. They had two years of safety and then the war came.
