What has Wintermute done to enrage Case?

Case suspects that the AI was responsible for ordering the death of Linda Lee. Wintermute tells Case that Linda ripped him off in order to make him notice her, and that she loved him before her death. Case, who has some problems keeping a steady girlfriend, does not take this news well.
