The nicest part of his day is when he stops in the meadow and throws Frightful from his fist. She winds into the sky and waits above him as he kicks the snow-bent grasses. A rabbit or pheasant would pop up. Then Frightful would make a beautiful dive from the sky. She stands over the food until Sam comes and picks her up.
