What does Harper ask Dr. Lenz to do? Why?

After calling to tell Miles that their plan worked too well, Harper calls Dr. Lenz and asks him to do two things. He asks him to evaluate the conversations between "Erin" and Berkmann as well as the tape that Berkmann made and left in Harper's home. He does this because he does not believe that the killer really did drown.
