Eric is a fourteen-year-old slave at Midnight. Jaguar asks Turquoise to take Eric with her when she escapes so that Jeshickah cannot harm Eric if she acts against Jaguar. Turquoise becomes fond of Eric, who reminds her of her younger brother whom Daryl killed.
