Who is Rinaldo from Midnight Magic and what is their importance?

Rinaldo is a kitchen servant. He knows some of the secret passageways that supposedly only the prince and princess know, and he has a statue that once sat in the niche where the ghost appears. In the end, the reader learns that Rinaldo is actually the prince in disguise.
