How does lewis see the role of a husband in the family?

Lewis argues that either the husband or the wife has to be the decision-maker in a two-way relationship because a majority vote is impossible to achieve if only two votes exist, and the two parties disagree. He builds a weaker case for the man being more diplomatic than the woman, due to the woman's loyalty to family first.
