When Scheherazade comes to see Habara, which occurs twice a week, she always calls an hour before she arrives. She drives her blue Mazda hatchback to Habara's house after stopping at the local supermarket to pick up his groceries. Then she arrives, unloads the groceries in his kitchen, and makes a list of things she needs to buy for her next visit. The final piece of the routine is that the two of them go into the bedroom and have sex, talking afterward, as Scheherazade tells Habara one of her stories. She always breaks off in the middle of a story and leaves at 4:30 p.m., saying she has to go home to prepare dinner for her family.
