Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment (which is the first book in the series) introduces some of the strong secondary characters, such as Gazzy, Iggy, and Fang. Iggy is the tech savvy, blind one. Gazzy's latent mutant issue is that he passes large quantities of gas (thus earning him the nickname). Fang is the one that seems to lead the group. With his dark looks and bad boy attitude, it is clear by this chapter that he will be Max's love interest. In this chapter, everyone is waking up in time for breakfast.
