Dr. Jay Butan was the Grogan's veterinarian. He is described as a compassionate man with a deep understanding of dogs. The Grogan's keep his number on speed dial and often call him with off-the-wall questions. Luckily, Dr. Jay is a patient man, who manages to coax the Grogan's through all of Marley's mishaps.
