Who were termed "Moslems" in camp? What consequences did being called "Moslem" have?

"Moslems" were those who the SS believed were no longer useful as workers because they were sick or injured. At one point, a prisoner who had been in camp longer than Frankl suggests to Frankl and the men in his hut that they shave, in order that their cheeks look "ruddier," and that that they walk tall. "A man who looks miserable, down and out, sick and emaciated, and who cannot manage hard physical labor any longer... that is a 'Moslem'."
