In act 1 sc 6 Duncan comments on the gentleness of the air around Macbeth's castle. The audience, however, knows that L. Macbeth and Macbeth are planning to kill him. that evening.

This castle hath a pleasant seat. The air Nimbly and sweetly recommends itself Unto our gentle senses.
