Title/ Myth/ Symbol

The Title, Lord of the Flies, has a lot of meaning if you think about it. Lord of the Flies refers, literally, to the hogs head, but it also refers to a well known reference for the devil. and since this book is a study on the dark side of human nature...the title is perfect.
