Lord of the Flies - the formation of the two groups?

Jack's group, the hunters, focuses on meat. This group only cares about the kill. They are impulsive, as well as increasingly uncivilized.

Ralph's group focuses on fire and is seen as the more civilized of the two groups. The fire supllies warmth, safety, and the hope for rescue.
