When Frick tried to rob Buck, Buck had laughed at someone so soft trying to rob him. Buck had swung at Frick, and Frick had been scared and pulled the trigger of the gun. Shawn learned what had happened because Tony was at the basketball court and told Shawn out of loyalty.
