How does Marmee feel about Jo, Beth, and Jo's plan to go to New York so Laurie and Beth can be together?

Marmee does not think that Beth is in love with Laurie at all. She does think that it's a good idea for Jo to go away for a time and take a break from Laurie, though. Marmee thinks that Jo and Laurie would both be too strong-willed to marry each other.
